How moderation works
Automated checks validate required fields, rating ranges, submission length, duplicate browser activity, and unusually rapid network activity. Reviews that pass those checks may appear immediately and can subsequently be reviewed by an administrator.
Duplicate, automated, coordinated, harassing, private, irrelevant, promotional, or incorrectly attributed content may be edited or removed. Critical reviews are not removed merely because someone disagrees with the opinion.
Request a correction
To correct a professor name, department, university, or duplicate listing, use the correction request form. Include the profile URL, the exact field that is wrong, and a public university source when available.
